In 2008, SHARE is lending its support to community-based initiatives that encourage women’s empowerment, leadership development and community participation in partnership with already established Salvadoran organizations. Grassroots projects are supported by various churches and schools in the United States who develop a sistering relationship of solidarity to work together in fundraising, community development, women’s empowerment and youth organizing.
